The General Secretariat of Balıkesir University is the fundamental administrative structure that regulates the administrative functioning of our university and ensures effective coordination between academic units and administrative bodies. Operating under the authority of the Rector's Office, the General Secretariat oversees processes related to the university senate, board of directors, and other higher committees, while also monitoring the implementation of decisions taken by the university administration.

The General Secretariat, which plays a supporting role in achieving our university's strategic goals, carries out administrative processes that facilitate the functioning of academic and administrative units in line with the principles of transparency, efficiency and service quality.
